Minister Farhadi makes a Condolences Statement on the Passing of Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani

The former Iranian President, Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rafsanjani, died of heart attack at the age of 82, on Sunday 8th January 2017, in Tehran.

Following the passing of Ayatollah Rafsanjani, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Prof. Farhadi, expressed his deep sympathy in his condolence statement to the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, Ayatollah Rafsanjani’s family, the Iranian nation and the country’s academic society.

Minister Farhadi assured that the Iranian academic society, will attend Ayatollah Rafsanjani’s funeral ceremonies on Tuesday 10th January, to express their sympathy for such a great loss, and to show their appreciation of his continuous effort, patience and strength during a decades-long career.
